The Star PTG-1 sharpens hobs up to 8" x 10", straight or spiral gash, dished spur and helical gear shaper cutters, and a wide range of round tools, making it a low cost, versatible, affordable tool room machine.

For the ultimate in productivity that will set Star apart from all other Tool and Cutter Grinders, the PTG-4 with the programmable (4) four on board wheel packs with up to 10" grinding wheel diameters and matching coolant manifold system, gives the operator a wide selection of wheels without intervention.  PTG-6 expands the selection to (6) six full sets with a maximum wheel diameter of 6".  To further push the productivity envelope optional auto loading and auto collet systems are available.  All features are completely programmable within the powerful NUMROTOplus Software with Full Function 3-D Simulation packages.
